CDOEXM and Exchange WMI providers are replaced with PowerShell cmdlets in Exchange 2007. If you have applications that need Replacing WMI and CDOEXM calls with cmdlets (C# managed code), you can call cmdlet directly from your app. Here is an explanation and sample.

The IIS SMTP Service changed in Exchange 2007 to an SMTP Service comming with the Exchange 2007. Therefore the original SMTP Event Sinks (programmable in COM) replaced by Transport Agents (programmable in .NET 2.0)
